A LITTLE ABOUT US...    

 

   Although we started taking in horses years ago, our Lazy J Farm was established in 2013, Both Jim and I were raised around horses and ponies and that has continued through our children. We believe that horses have a right to live without fear or worry of humans.

Human and Horse in Harmony..

The horses on our farm are a part of our family, just the way every pet should be, large or small. When a horse arrives at our farm, we keep them in isolation for 30 DAYS and/or until they are vet cleared. During that time we do a lot of one on one time with them to determine how much work is needed and what kind of personality they have, this also helps place them in their forever future home. Doing this, also helps them to trust again, and sets a strong foundation between horse and human.  Then we can decide if the horse is ready to be rehomed, and what kind of family would suit them best.
